Thank you for your interest in this very special breed, and in particular my upcoming litter. As my puppies are brought into this world with the utmost of love, care and concern, I do try to make sure that the homes they are placed in are the very best that I can find. I hope that you not only understand my concern for their life long welfare, but are happy to know that you are able to rely on me for any help you may need throughout their lives. If you have researched the breed and are ready to devote the love, time, energy and attention your prospective new family member will require, I am certain he/she will provide many years of happiness and joy to you and your family.

Yes No This common and fairly easy surgical procedure will not only totally prevent accidental litters and provide numerous health benefits to your TM family member; it also, when done early enough, helps to decrease aggressive tendencies. I highly recommend it for the pet home. Do you live in: Apartment Townhome/Condo Single-Family Residence Other The area where you live is best described as: City Suburban Rural Other Do you rent or own your residence? Rent Own Have you ever owned a Tibetan Mastiff before? Have you ever owned any guardian breed before? Have you ever, or do you currently own any other pets? If yes, what, and where are they now? Are there any children in your family? Please include ages. Does everyone in your family want this puppy and is everyone willing to partake in its care and training? How did you discover this breed? Why have you chosen this breed for your family? Are you aware that a Tibetan Mastiff grows to be a fairly large dog - males can weigh up to 150 lbs and females 75 to 100 lbs or more? Are you also aware that, as a guardian breed, a Tibetan Mastiff will probably be (at least to some extent) territorial and protective of what he / she believes to be their home, property and/or family? It is for this reason that every TM should be well-socialized. Puppy kindergarten classes and even “schooling” beyond that is a great idea, along with exposure to as many different environments as possible. It is even more important to get your new puppy used to people coming into your home and onto your property. Where will your new puppy spend its days? Where will your new puppy spend its nights? How many hours each day will your TM puppy spend alone? Have you ever used a crate before? As a TM can be destructive: chewing, digging, etc. are to be expected, especially from a puppy, so a crate is practically a necessity. It should NEVER, however, be used as long term housing or containment for your new family member for very long periods of time. Do you have a fenced in yard? If yes, please describe materials and include height. Under NO circumstances should a TM ever be allowed to roam free or be tied out for extended periods of time. Who is your veterinarian and may I call him/her for a reference? Can you give me 2 other references that can tell me about any of your pet “experiences“? Please provide their names and phone numbers. Do you have any questions or comments? All puppies will be registered with AKC as “not for breeding“, however, this can be changed to “for breeding“ after the proper genetic testing has been done. If, for any reason, during the lifetime of your TM purchased from DuneBridge, you cannot keep your dog, he/she must be returned to me. Thank you again for your interest in our Tibetan Mastiffs!
