Dunebridge Tibetan Mastiffs

Surrounded by the historic architectural setting of Waterbury, Connecticut and the breathtaking scenery of our New England landscapes, Dunebridge TMs is devoted to the preservation of the Tibetan Mastiff. Our first Tibetan Mastiff was a life-enriching gift and she opened our eyes to the beauty and power of this glorious breed.

Drawing on the extensive experience we have had with the harsh reality as all-breed dog/cat Rescue Volunteers and pursuing a daily career as domestic animal caregivers, we at Dunebridge know the value and benefits of maintaining a small but highly selective breeding program. We have dedicated our lives to the care of our dogs and we are quite content to have our close knit group of females luxuriate in the comfort of our home. We plan breedings occasionally and puppies are raised underfoot with lots of hands-on loving. We are extremely careful with our puppy selection process and home placement and we follow through with breeder/resource support for all our puppies.

We are original and supportive founders of the Tibetan Mastiff Breeders Response Network, an informational website that serves the international TM community, a listed volunteer representative for Tibetan Mastiff Rescue and Re-homing and a member of the American Tibetan Mastiff Association (ATMA).

In the ten plus years that we have been involved in this magnificent and unique breed, I am confident and honored to say that through the mentoring and guidance of Susie Ochsenbein at Himalaya Kennel, we feel our breeding program has accomplished exactly what we have strived for from the start. Each planned breeding has been given every consideration of temperament, health and correct type for the breed. In this exciting time for the Tibetan Mastiff, we could not be more certain that we are on the right track in our goal to be breeding the best Tibetan Mastiffs that we are able.
